Author Araman Cam

Araman Cam is the pen name for Bafta Award winning video game writer and director Brendan McNamara. Brendan writes video games for a living and also songs for the music collective Extra Time. This is his first attempt at writing a children’s story but as a father of four he has certainly read a vast number of children’s books. The Lonely Brown Trout came about during a bushwalk in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney. At the top of Wentworth Falls there is a pool on the edge of a huge precipice. That pool contained one little brown trout swimming round and around all by itself.
