Author Hazel Lekkas

Speech Pathologist, and first-time author of a picture story book, Hazel Lekkas recalls the day her English/Literature secondary school teacher commented that she would one day write a book. Hazel has worked in mainstream primary and secondary schools with students and school staff to improve language and literacy outcomes. She has also co-created an app targeting phonological awareness with her colleague (and wonderful friend), Suzi Gurovski (née Josevski) Hazel lives in Melbourne with her ever supportive husband and beautiful twin daughters whom she loves to read with.
