Author Jo-Ann Foo

Jo-Ann Foo lives on Sydney’s picturesque Northern Beaches, where she also grew up. She wears many hats as a marketing consultant, a kid’s learn-to-swim teacher and as a mother. In her quest to explore her long-held passion for children’s books, Jo-Ann completed several courses with the Australian Writer’s Centre. She has also acted (and sang!) in a pantomime written by children. Her Malaysian grandmother loved dogs and passed this fascination down to Jo-Ann, who for years desperately wanted a dog to call her own. Despite this, during lockdown, she got a cat instead. She takes some consolation that he sometime behaves like a dog.
