Author Karen Witt

Karen Witt is a Senior Child Protection Caseworker, Youth Justice Conference Convenor, Disaster Welfare Coordinator and Registered Adoption Counsellor. She has a Bachelor of Social Science (Welfare Studies) from the University of Newcastle and a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration from Charles Sturt University. Karen was born in Binya, and raised on the Central Coast of NSW, where she currently lives with her partner, Brandon, and their two daughters, Sophie and Gemma. Karen enjoys surfing, fishing and trail bike riding. She and her family share their time between the coast and the country in Merrygoen, where they have a farm with goats, sheep, cows and alpacas. The Claw is Karen’s first children’s book.
