Illustrator Verena Heirich

Verena Heirich is an artist based in Campbelltown, NSW, with a diverse background in teaching art, including at a local secondary school. Some of her work was recently selected for the finals of the prestigious Fisher’s Ghost Art Award in Campbelltown. Verena illustrated the children’s book Who Has the Biggest Mouth?, showcasing both her flair and expertise. Each illustration was not only eye-catching but also filled with whimsical details that encouraged closer inspection. Building on this success, Verena has been invited to illustrate Judy Cannon’s next book, In Grandma’s Garden. Verena’s family remains her biggest fans, eagerly anticipating the next series of illustrations.
